Hot Nights, Cool Tunes - Saturdays in July

The 2021 band lineup for Downtown Brenham's "Hot Nights, Cool Tunes" concert series has been announced.

The Fab 5 kicks off the popular summertime concert series on Saturday, July 10, on the courthouse square. Voted best cover/tribute band by the Houston Press 2011-2015, they feature the Beatles and other groups' music from the British Invasion of the '60s & '70s. On July 17, Austin's premier party band, The Rocket Brothers Band, joins the Hot Nights, Cool Tunes stage, playing popular music from the '50s 'til now. A true variety band! Sponsored by Legacy Concrete Works and Waste Services, Brianna's Fine Salad Dressing, Associated Credit Union of Texas, and Ant Street Inn.

On July 24, Brown Sugar Band returns to the stage with a blend of Motown, R&B, old school rock n' roll, and today's hits that will have the crowds dancing in the street. Sponsored by Budweiser – Mike Hopkins Distributing, Citizens State Bank, Woodson Lumber Company, and Bluebonnet Electric.

And closing out this year's series on July 31 is the Journey tribute band Escape. For 20-years, Escape has been taking fans through the years of Journey…from "Separate Ways" to "Open Arms." Sponsored by Brannon Industrial Group, Strand Associates, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union, and Baylor Scott & White.

This summer will be the 17th season for Downtown Brenham to host "Hot Nights, Cool Tunes" on the courthouse square. All the concerts are free and will begin at 7 p.m. every Saturday night in July. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy food and drinks from local businesses and vendors.
