Intro to Pickleball at Jackson St. Park
Due to weather, the March 3rd class was rescheduled for April 7th at 3 pm
March 3 and April 7 are the currently scheduled Intro to Pickleball clinics. Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of badminton, tennis, and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton-sized court, 20' x 44' with solid paddles, a perforated polymer-ball and a net that is 34" high. Players volley the ball back and forth to try to score on the opposition. It was designed to be easy to learn for people of all ages and athletic abilities. In the past 10 years, the growth of Pickleball has exploded mainly in senior communities throughout the United States.
Participants should wear tennis shoes and bring water. Equipment is provided. Pickleball can be played by all ages, however, this class is intended for ages 50+.
Clinic hosted by Brenham Pickleball League. Register online at pickleball.cityofbrenham.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
