Reopening Plan for Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library Set for June 23, 2020

Starting June 23rd the Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library will open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Grab and Go services. We will continue offering Curbside Checkout on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well. Computer use is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by appointment.

For Grab and Go:
Come inside and browse for up to 30 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 4pm. We ask that visitors over the age of 10 please wear a mask.
For Curbside Checkout:
Items can be reserved online from the Library Catalog (24/7), by phone at (979)337-7201 or by text at (979)243-5288.

Curbside Checkout and Pick Up days will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 4 pm only. 
Call the Library at (979)337-7201 upon arrival, and a staff member will assist you. 

All Items must be returned to the outdoor bookdrop.

For Computer Use and Indoor WiFi Use by Appointment:

Reservations for a 1-hour computer or Wi-Fi sessions can be made online anytime from our Library Calendar, or by phone at (979)337-7201, or by text at (979)243-5288. 

Reservations for 1-hour time slots will be available on Mondays at 9 am - 4 pm, Wednesdays 9 am - 7 pm, and Fridays 9 am - 4 pm. 

Services available during computer sessions or Wi-Fi sessions include: printing, copies, faxing, scanning, and web conferencing for interviews, meetings, classes, etc.

We continue to offer virtual storytimes and programs through Facebook Live. Details about our @Home Summer Reading and Recreation Program will be coming soon. We look forward to serving our community in new and innovative ways.

Library Information

The library offers a variety of services for adults, teens, and children. There are over 47,000 items in our collection. This number includes books (regular and large print), audio CDs, DVDs, and a genealogy collection. In addition, the Library offers a large digital content library of e-books, audiobooks, videos, and digital magazines. Services offered include public access computers with Microsoft Office and Internet access, laptops, Chromebooks, free WiFi, faxing, color printing, copying, scanning, and borrowing from other libraries through Inter-Library Loan (ILL). Meeting spaces and study rooms are free to reserve for public use. Meeting spaces must be reserved by Library cardholders.

The library offers adult programs of all kinds, story times for children, and teen activities throughout the year. Each summer, the library has a summer reading program with special programs held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Library cards are free and available for any Texas resident and children five and older; a parent or legal guardian's signature is required for children under the age of 16. A photo ID or proof of residency is also required. The first Library card is free and replacement cards are available for $2.00
