Fire Chief - Ricky Boeker
Ricky is a life long resident of Brenham and a 1977 graduate of Brenham High School. He joined the Department in May of 1988 and has advanced through the ranks to be elected Chief in 2005 by its membership. In 2008 he became the first paid Fire Chief for the City of Brenham. He has been an instructor for Texas A&M Municipal Fire School since 2000 and serves as Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Brenham.
Ricky received the Brenham Fire Department's Firefighter of the year in 1995 and again in 2007. He was also the Central Texas Firemen's & Fire Marshal Firefighter of the year in 1996.
Ricky marreid his wife, Virginia, in 1982 and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
Ricky welcomes the chance to visit with anyone about the Department to hear their views and concerns. He are always looking for ways to improve and better serve the citizens of Brenham and Washington County
