ANTI-DRINKING AND DRIVING PROGRAM
The Brenham Police Department has set a standard in our community to be proactive and take positive approaches in dealing with many law enforcement issues. Alcohol and the youthful driver can become a costly formula. We are aware that a proactive, educational approach is a strong factor in reducing the number of automobile accidents involving minors, the number of personal injuries caused by driving under the influence and saving lives.
Through a six-hour voluntary course, the department presents a full curriculum of information to students regarding the use of alcohol, drugs and the effects they have on the human body and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
