The Citizens Collection Station is a full service transfer station.  The garbage and waste brought to the Collection Station is put into transfer trailers and taken to a landfill. The residential trash picked up at your curb throughout the city limits is brought to the collection station for disposal, as well as any waste citizens may bring.  You may bring used tires, solid waste, scrap metal, constuction/ demolition debris;excluding cement and bricks, brush, and yard waste to the Collection Station for disposal. Click here for a price list for the Collection Station.

The Citizens Collection Station also provides mulch to residential and commercial customers. Mulch is produced by grinding brush that is brought into the Collection Station by citizens. This mulch is then put into piles where it naturally composts.

Mulch is sold for $20.00 per ton for residential customers and sold in bulk orders of 50 tons or more for $15.00 per ton to customers, for a 30 day period. You may call the Citizens Collection Station for more information.
