Acting City Secretary - Jeana Bellinger
Jeana Bellinger has been with the City of Brenham since November, 2006 and has been Deputy City Secretary since June, 2008. Prior to her position as Deputy City Secretary she was the Administrative Assistant to the City Manager.
Jeana began her career in Houston, Texas working in the specialized areas of risk management and commercial insurance. After the tragic events of 9-11, she began a career in municipal government working as Human Resources Director for the City of Waller before coming to Brenham. She is an active member of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association and is currently enrolled in the Texas Municipal Clerks Certification Program.
Jeana and her husband, Eric, reside in Hempstead and have four children and two grandchildren.
Deputy City Secretary - Rita Jezierski
Rita Jezierski has been with the City of Brenham for 12 years and has been Deputy City Secretary since August, 2007. Prior to this position she has been an Administrative Assistant in the Administration and Public Utilities Departments.
Rita began her career in Houston, Texas working in the Civil Service Department of the City of Houston and then moving on to positions with companies in the oil and gas field. In 1981 she moved to Washington County and has worked in private industry, county and city governments. Over the years she has been involved with several church and civic organizations. She is currently a member of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association and is enrolled in the Texas Municipal Clerk Certification Program.
Rita and her husband reside in Chappell Hill and have three children and four grandchildren. They enjoy dancing and traveling.
