The Brenham Police Academy Alumni Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Brenham by supporting the Police Department. The CPAAA assists the department and its officers through volunteerism and community activities. The organization was formed in April 1992 and serves as an educational outreach program to the community. Through the CPAAA, citizens can gain a better understanding of the police department can do and what it can not do in terms of enforcing local, state and federal laws. The CPAAA participates in local community events, fund-raising for the department and general support of the Citizens Police Academy program offered through the department.
